Book of Love - Pinterest

Hi all and thanks for sopping by today.  Today is day 7 of MFT Teaser Time, which means in 22 short hours all the amazing products we've shown you over the past 7 days will be available for purchase.

I had a ball with many of the new Die-namics dies and created this fun "Book of Love" coupon book.  It contains seven coupons, each containing a gift for my husband, along with one page containing a list of things I love about him.

The cover of the book was decorated with the stamps from the Coupon Book - Love stamp set.  The background grid is from Journal It - Graph Paper Notes stamped in Kraft ink.  I added the border from Boy Meets Girl.  I added a heart from Heart STAX over the top hole to add a little pop of color.  The book was bound with Hemp Cord.

The book contains seven coupons and one list of things I "heart" about my husband (which I'll fill in later).  The inner pages have cool ticket corners and can be ripped out of the book with working perforation marks.

I added a sweet little tag and hung it from the binding.

Here is a peek at all the inside pages.  Each was stamped with stamps from the Coupon Book - Love stamp set using Kraft, Black Licorice, and Wild Cherry ink.

The tag was created with hearts from the Heart STAX Die-namics die set.

This is the back-side of the tag.

Here is another look at the cover.

I decorated the back cover as well.  I added a couple elements from the Document It - Off the Chart stamp set.  The "chevron" stamp is from Lollipop Additions - Love stamp set.

Here is a look at all the products I used for my coupon book:

Badges

I thought it would be cool to have your badge choice on your blog sidebar. This will link to a page on your blog with the following badges (with code below each). This way people can choose the one that best matches for their own blog/site. I like to provide code (instead of just the image) for badges for a good reason. If you ever decide to run a promo or special (like you are doing now) you could change all these badges/blinkies on everyone's site at one time! Your blinkie could be changed to reflect your current promotion and replaced with the images we are currently hosting. This will change the image on EVERY person's blog who has installed your badge/blinkie code. FREE ADVERTISING!!!!!!! You have quite the following so it's time to CASH IN on that!!!! :D

Do you want your badge/blinkie animated? I assumed you did not so this is what I came up with. If you want it animated I will probably change this idea to something totally different (which is ok if that's what you want) and I will only provide one option for readers. My animations are usually pretty complex so one option would be better in that case. :D

What do ya think? Tell me if you hate this idea, it's ok if you do! :D

Informative Post - Please Read Me!

I am using the blogger post "Compose" data entry area to type this post.  It is not created somewhere else and then pasted into the HTML tab.  If you look at the posts labeled "Jody Post" you will see a lot of extra spacing.  I was able to override the font used but nothing else.  This is something I cannot fix with CSS code.  Your blog is now styled TO THE MAX so to get perfectly formatted posts you can now just type, upload your images, create links, create quotes, bulleted lists and tables right here in the data entry area on blogger.  If you prefer to keep creating somewhere else and paste I should probably re-evaluate some of the styling.  Now I will insert a picture here just for sample purposes.  I hit enter to put in an extra line before uploading this photo.  I set the photo to X-Large and it is LEFT aligned.

I also use the HTML view quite often, but it's is not necessary.  Be sure to look at this post to see all of the stylings in your new design.  Click all around, you have numbered comments and all sorts of fun things everywhere!  This is an extremely thorough design.  Once you are using this design please let me know, AT ANY TIME, if there is something that is not looking the way you think it should.  I may be able to fix it without you having to change something every time you make a post.  Of course using the blogger entry area REALLY helps me help you in that area.  There is extra code written in each of your blog posts that I can't change on a global level.  OK I am adding another photo just so we can see more than in the post. This one is set to be Large and CENTER alignment.

Did you know that you can increase the size of the post entry area.  Move your mouse over the bottom edge of the brown area around the entry area.  Your cursor will change to double arrows, when it does click and drag it down!  SWEET!

I don't particularly care for the InLinkz product thumbnails being outlined.  This is because of the table styling you see on the styling post.  The table is above the photo.  I can add some code for you to use in each post, you would then paste your InLinkz code in between two tags like this: <div class='inlinks-tweak">PASTE CODE HERE</div>.  Or I could remove the pink outline from the table.

Well I think that's all I have to say for the moment.  Let me know if you have any changes, additions or questions!!!!  Can't WAIT to see it on YOUR BLOG!!!!  :D

Thank You - Anchor

Hi all and thanks so much for stopping by today.  It's time for MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch #85.  If you'd like to see what the rest of the participating designers came up with click on over to the MFT Blog.

I used the adorable à la modes, You Anchor Me.  I stamped her on white paper, but then used Tea Dye Distress Ink and aged it.  It takes a while to get it nice and even, but I love the look.  I wanted something rustic-looking.

The sentiment was stamped on one of the Mini Tabs Foursome.  I created an embellishment using Sea Charms, and two different types of twine.

I added a Simply Scallops Border along the bottom, cut from red patterned paper.

Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog and the MFT forum on SCS (look for the most recent WSC thread).  You'll need to upload your card in the SCS gallery using the keyword shown on the sketch. You will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Happy Birthday - Piggy Bank

Hi all and thanks so much for stopping by today.  It's time for MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch #84.  If you'd like to see what the rest of the participating designers came up with click on over to the MFT Blog.

I kept this card pretty in pink and used the adorable new Piggy Bank stamp set.

I stitched on three gorgeous Razzle Berry Buttons.

She is colored with Copic markers.  I used Spica glitter pen on the coin and some pink chalk on her cheeks.  The sentiment was stamped on a Sentiment Strip Die-namics.

Here is a peek inside using another of the sentiments in the stamp set.
